Education, Certifications, and Work Experience
Rebecca Nicole Franklin was born in Englewood, Colorado. She moved to Rangely at the age of 7 where she continued to live until graduating from high school. In 1997 and 1998, Rebecca attended the University of Northern Colorado on a swimming scholarship where she became a 4-Time All-American for swimming, an Academic All-American, as well as the Rookie of the Year.
Focusing her attention on academics, Rebecca moved back to Rangely and soon afterwards was accepted into the Colorado Northwestern Community College Dental Hygiene program. During her schooling for dental hygiene at CNCC, Rebecca was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was the Historian for the Student American Dental Hygiene Association. She was named to Who’s Who as well as the Dental Hygiene Outstanding Scholar of the Year. Rebecca graduated with high honors from CNCC in May 2002 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Rebecca has been working at AvantGarde Dental since July 2002.
Personal Interests
Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, weight training, walking, and shopping. Among her many interests are her animals including her Bloodhound and Lab, the ocean, doing crafts and home decorating. Rebecca looks forward to the new experiences, memories, and friendships that are to be gained from working in Steamboat as well as cherishes the ones that have already been created since starting her hygiene career at AvantGarde Dental.
